PPC Account Manager (Paid Search Specialist)

Role Purpose

Are you an independent PPC Account Manager looking for a new challenge? Or perhaps you are a capable experienced PPC Executive looking to step up into a more senior role? Gravytrain is looking for a keen, motivated individual to join the team and help us reach the next level.

You will be expected to provide high quality PPC and Paid Social services across a number of assigned client accounts – along with working with the Senior team members to drive Gravytrain’s Paid Social offering and proposition further.

You will be expected to advise on best practices for multiple Paid platforms; and draw on previous experience to provide realistic and commercially viable services. This role needs to have a high level of understanding of the current industry trends – as well as creative innovative thinking, utilising new products and strategies.

Main Activities

Below is a non-exhaustive list of day-to-day activities that are involved in this role:

  • The main point of contact for allocated PPC accounts
  • Daily campaign “house-keeping” including budget and performance checks
  • Creation, implementation and testing of Paid strategies for allocated accounts
  • Ensuring yourself, your client accounts and PPC Executive are in line with best practice
  • Contribute to pitch process with Senior Account Manager and Business Development when needed
  • Regular communication with clients and colleagues
  • Reporting on campaign performance

Skills & Capabilities

The ideal candidate must have commercial experience in the following skills or have relevant transferable skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) – internal and client facing
  • Genuine flair for Paid Social and PPC
  • Good experience (2+ years) and knowledge of PPC, namely Google Ads and Bing Ads (all products, not just Search)
  • Great experience (2+ years) and knowledge of Paid Social and its various platforms
  • Proven track record in providing outstanding results through Paid and client satisfaction
  • Google Ads Certified

 

Additional skills that are beneficial to this role include:

  • Experience using or creating PPC-based technology
  • Experience managing junior team members
  • Earned official Facebook exams
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Bing UET, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio
