Are you looking to develop your SEO career in an exciting environment? In your role as SEO Executive you will be responsible for working across all elements of national and international SEO campaigns. Your main activities will include the production of technical audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, on-page optimisation and outreach, always with the view to maximising the organic visibility of your clients’ campaigns.

The SEO Executive role within Gravytrain will suit a junior executive with around a year`s commercial experience looking to bolster their growth and career development, or a more established SEO Executive seeking the chance to work in a data driven environment where their work is recognised and shows a direct impact on client marketing campaigns.

Gravytrain is looking for an eager individual wanting to progress in their career and take ownership of their work, set on delivering measurable results.

Skills & Capabilities

The ideal candidate brings the following skills or has relevant transferable skills

  • Solid experience with Google Analytics & Google Adwords (Keyword Planner)
  • Experience with Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools)
  • Working knowledge of other web analytics / SEO tools (such as MOZ, SEM Rush)
  • Experienced in conducting technical site audits
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices and a keen interest in SEO trends and developments
  • Highly numerate, with understanding of statistical and arithmetic analysis
  • An understanding of search engines and of all aspects of on-site and off-site SEO
  • Excellent reporting skills & KPI driven approach

Additional skills that are beneficial to this role include:

  • Experience within an SEO team
  • SEO Copywriting experience
  • Experience with Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with blogger outreach / content marketing
  • Basic understanding of PPC
  • Basic understanding of HTML and/or JavaScript
  • Fluency in an additional EU language
